Terms and Conditions for Online Payments

These terms and conditions apply to customers (“Users,” “Patients,” or “Clients”) who make payments for any services offered by MedVoyage Global Ltd. (“MedVoyage,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through our website, mobile app, or authorized representatives.
By authorizing a payment to MedVoyage through the online payment system (“the Service”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
MedVoyage reserves the right to modify or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review these terms periodically.
1. Payment Methods
Payments through MedVoyage may be made using:
- Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, UnionPay)
- Debit Cards and Bank Transfers
- Online Banking or PayPal
- Any other digital payment option supported in your region
Before making a payment, please confirm any applicable charges or currency conversion fees with your bank or card provider.
2. Data Security
- All payment information is processed via secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.
- MedVoyage does not store or have access to users’ full credit/debit card details.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that all payment data entered is accurate and valid.
- Users are encouraged to save transaction receipts for reference in case of disputes.
3. Internet and Data Risks
MedVoyage uses globally trusted payment gateways, but users acknowledge that internet transmissions carry inherent risks.
While we employ state-of-the-art encryption (SSL) and monitoring systems, MedVoyage and its payment service partners cannot guarantee that data transmissions will always be secure from interception or unauthorized access.
4. Disclaimer of Liability
Neither MedVoyage nor its payment partners will be liable for:
- Any delays, errors, or interruptions during the transaction.
- Incorrect information provided by the customer.
- Unauthorized access to data.
- System downtime or failure of banking networks.
Under no circumstances shall MedVoyage or its affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this service.
5. Payment Authorization
By initiating an online payment, you confirm:
- You are the lawful owner or authorized user of the payment method.
- You authorize MedVoyage to debit the specified amount from your chosen account or card.
- You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available to complete the payment.
6. Cancellations of Prepaid Appointments
a. General Appointment Cancellations
- Customers may cancel up to 1 hour before the scheduled time without penalty.
- Refunds will be issued after deducting any applicable bank or third-party transaction fees.
- Cancellations can only be made through the MedVoyage platform (app or website).
- Cancellations via phone, email, or other channels will not be accepted.
b. Provider-Initiated Cancellations
Occasionally, appointments may be postponed or canceled by third-party providers (Doctors, Clinics, Hospitals, or Labs).
In such cases, users will be notified and may either reschedule or request a refund.
7. Rescheduling of Appointments
- Users can reschedule a prepaid appointment (same provider or same service) up to 1 hour before the appointment.
- Any price difference due to provider rates or service type must be paid at the time of rescheduling.
- Bank or payment processing fees may apply.
8. Refund Policy
- Refunds apply when cancellations meet the timing criteria or when services cannot be fulfilled.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method or credited to the MedVoyage wallet for future use.
- Refunds typically take 10–14 business days to process depending on the financial institution.
- MedVoyage is not liable for refund delays caused by banks, international gateways, or external factors.
- No refunds will be issued for “No-Show” consultations or cancellations made within one hour of the appointment.
For project-based services such as BYOB (Build Your Own Brand), refund terms will be governed by the individual service agreement signed with MedVoyage.
9. No-Show Policy for Online Consultations
If a user fails to attend the scheduled online or video consultation and the doctor remains available during the allocated time, no refund shall be provided.
This policy ensures fairness and respect for the provider’s time and commitment.
10. Service Delivery Policy
Scope of Services
MedVoyage Global offers the following services:
- Consultations: Virtual or in-person medical consultations.
- Second Opinions: Expert medical review from global specialists.
- Medical Tourism: Facilitation of international medical travel and hospital partnerships.
- BYOB: Marketing and visibility solutions for healthcare organizations.
Nature of Our Platform
MedVoyage serves as a digital healthcare facilitation platform, not a medical service provider. All medical or diagnostic services are rendered by independent licensed professionals or institutions.
Each engagement constitutes a separate legal agreement between the user and the healthcare provider. MedVoyage holds no liability for the professional advice or treatment outcomes provided by such third parties.
Service Fulfillment Process
- Once payment is confirmed, a booking confirmation will be sent via email or app notification.
- The user can view and manage appointments in the “My Consultations” or “My Services” section.
- For packages such as Medical Tourism or BYOB, a MedVoyage representative will coordinate service delivery directly.
11. Security
All online payment information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and processed through verified international gateways.
MedVoyage shall not be held responsible for any loss of information resulting from the user’s device security, network failure, or negligence.
12. No Warranty
MedVoyage provides the payment service “as is” without any express or implied warranty regarding uninterrupted, error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where MedVoyage Global Ltd. is incorporated.
Regional compliance also applies under:
- KVKK (Turkey)
- DPDP Act (India)
- PECA & Consumer Protection Acts (Pakistan)
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms will be referred to binding arbitration under applicable local arbitration laws.
For UAE-based disputes, the arbitration venue shall be Dubai, UAE.
The decision of the appointed arbitrator will be final and binding.
15. Variations to Terms
MedVoyage reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. The updated version will be published on www.medvoyageglobal.com, and continued use of the service indicates acceptance of any revisions.
